LEOMHS is Nationally Ranked a Best School by U.S. News & World Report!

The scores are in! Law Enforcement Officers' Memorial High School has been ranked 32 in the State and 511 nationally by U.S. News & World Report. Please click on the logo next to this item to go to the link with rankings.The U.S. News rankings include data on more than 21,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia. Schools were awarded gold, silver or bronze medals based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college.
Summer Reading Requirement for 2015!

The summer reading requirement for 2015 is now posted under the "Student" tab of the LEOMHS web site under "Summer Reading." Please be sure to go to this section of the site to download and print the PDF documents you will need. Incoming 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade students are required to read the assigned book for their grade level and to complete the related assignments in time for the start of school in August.
Parent Involvement Survey! LEOMHS Parents...Please Complete Now!

Each year, Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) conducts a Title I Parent/Family Involvement Survey designed to provide the district with information on how well your child’s school is doing in supporting your involvement in your child’s education.
The 2015 M-DCPS Title I Parent/Family Involvement Survey will be available online from May 11, 2015, to June 26, 2015. This Survey is open to all parents of children attending schools implementing the Title I Schoolwide Program. The online Survey is available in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole. Survey responses will be anonymous. Paper Surveys are available at your child’s school upon request.

Chris is a Gates Millennium Scholar!

LEOMHS Senior Christopher Acevedo was named a Gates Millennium Scholar for 2015. He is one of 13 M-DCPS students to receive this prestigious honor. Christopher will be attending Florida State University where he will major in criminal justice and political science. As a Gates scholarship ambassador for Miami-Dade County, Christopher will be returning to his LEOMHS to speak to students at his alma mater, and at other schools about the application process.
